NB Records is a digital record label (netlabel) which is distributed through the world wide web only. Started by Nicolas Bacher, who has been running two physical record labels Titanium Records and Supreme Entertainment targets new distribution channels throught online stores and uses all advantages of the web. "I am tired of of distribution delays, manufacturing problems and missing the direct link to the customers" Nicolas says, "we lost a lot of money with our physical recordlabels, digital distribution is the future, and now internet shops offer full wav downloads with no quality loss, that´s the possibility I have been waiting for - my tracks run out of my studio directly to the crowd, no several months of delay and no distribution complications".
With recent developments into minimal style the label will be all about reduced dance music, harmonies and trancy melodies in mind. There is no press- or DJ promotion in conventional style, all this will be handled by mp3 downloads only.
